Learning Objective: Participants will gain an understanding of the various components that lead to water penetration in walls and how to prevent it with rainscreen wall system solutions. The importance of air barriers, vapor control and thermal control in the walls will be discussed. Examples of proper rainscreen details and construction will be provided. Introduction to WUFI analysis will be discussed.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Jonnie Hasan, P.E., Director of Engineering & Sales Support
Jonnie has more than 15 years of experience in commercial construction, design-build and cladding industries and holds a Six Sigma Green Belt and Project Management Certification. In his position with IMETCO, Jonnie has various roles including building envelope designer, WUFI specialist, manufacturing engineer and construction manager. Jonnie strives to guide clients to the most cost effective and efficient product application. Jonnie is a registered Professional Engineer with numerous patents related to building cladding system and design.
